Welcome to Isis Yoga and Wellness Center. Founded in 2002 by Kathleen Weinstein, the center is dedicated to helping people on their journey of wellness. We welcome people of all levels of fitness, and all types of body shapes.

Our center is based upon the belief that most everyone can benefit from Yoga. Yoga helps strengthen muscles, increases flexibility, and renews energy. When practiced on a regular basis, Yoga can release stress, tension, and anxiety. In general, it can be a springboard for improved physical, mental and emotional health.

Isis Yoga and Wellness Center currently has seven instructors who offer over 15 weekly classes in Yoga, Pilates, Meditation, and Belly Dance. Our teachers are dedicated to providing a safe and supportive atmosphere for our students as they become stronger and healthier. Class sizes are small (5-15 participants). Keeping class sizes smaller, means that instructors can tailor class content to meet the participants needs and can give students attention in proper alignment.

Let our experienced teachers help you on your path to becoming a stronger and healthier YOU!

Let us introduce them to you, beginning with our Founder...

Kathleen Weinstein, owner of Isis Yoga Center, has practiced yoga for 35 years and has taught yoga since 1979. She has a degree in dance and has a 500 hour advanced level teacher certification from Kripalu, the largest Hatha yoga and retreat center in the United States. She has studied with Erich Schiffmann, John Friend, Patricia Walden, Judith Lasater, Angela Farmer, and other internationally respected yoga teachers on her yoga journey.

Kathleen is serious about yoga, but not particularly serious about herself. She has a light-hearted, engaging approach to teaching. She loves sharing her passion for yoga with students and enjoys seeing the effects it has on others' lives.
